These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of candyscript.club ("the Site") operated by Candy Script Club ("we", "us", or "our"), an editorial script consulting agency located at 6430 Sunset Blvd, Suite 700, Los Angeles, CA 90028. By accessing the Site or utilizing our telephone services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

Candy Script Club provides narrative script evaluations, dialogue doctoring audits, retention pacing assessments, and developmental guidance for writers, independent filmmakers, YouTube fiction creators, and digital media production studios.

The initial 5-to-10 minute phone diagnostic is strictly exploratory. It serves to identify structural and dialogue bottlenecks. Any expanded, formal written coverage, extensive rewrite contracts, or long-term writer's room engagements require separate, mutually executed creative service agreements.

3. Intellectual Property Rights & Submissions

Client Ownership: You retain 100% of all copyrights, trademarks, characters, storylines, and proprietary rights in any script material, dialogue, or concepts you present to our editors.
Confidentiality: We treat all creative discussions as strictly proprietary under California Uniform Trade Secrets Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 3426 et seq.) and industry-standard mutual NDA practices.
Independent Creation: Given the extensive volume of concepts evaluated by Hollywood editorial desks, you acknowledge that similar themes or premises may be independently developed without infringement on your submission.

4. No Representation or Guarantee of Commercial Success

Our editorial insights represent professional creative opinion based on contemporary narrative standards. Candy Script Club does NOT act as a talent agency or literary broker, and makes NO guarantees, express or implied, that scripts reviewed will secure talent representation, studio optioning, network distribution, crowdfunding success, or financial revenue.

5. Permitted Use and Telephone Etiquette

Users agree to use our telephone lines and online callback submission forms for lawful, genuine editorial inquiries only. Harassment, profanity, abusive conduct toward on-call editors, fraudulent submissions, or transmission of automated robocall traffic is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate line termination and IP blocking.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Candy Script Club, its officers, editors, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website, information provided during complimentary phone calls, or any temporary unavailability of our telephone lines.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
